Through sound leadership we support all stake holders by providing consistency and uniformity in fire code application, by the continuing efforts of the installation of residential fire sprinklers, and by identifying and addressing the community's needs through targeted education.
Our goal is the standardization of interpretations and enforcement of codes.
Establish and maintain open communication between contractors, designers and fire prevention agencies. Communicate the process involved with inspection to simplify and expedite the inspection process. Discuss interpretations and positions of various codes. Identify problems and/or differences and resolve conflicts between Building and Fire Codes. Provide recommendations to the Lee County Fire Marshals Association to be considered for standardization throughout Lee County, Florida.
